Lower Primary Year Level Coordinator’s Message

We had a great start to Semester 2.

Recently the Foundation team celebrated 100 Days of School. Students were given the opportunity to participate in various craft activities, making fairy bread, blowing 100 bubbles and dressing up as an old person or wearing an outfit to represent 100.

During Literacy Week we had our annual Character Parade. Students and teachers were dressed up in various costumes to represent characters from their favourite book. Everyone looked amazing.

Foundation students had a very good day at Fairy Park to celebrate literacy week. Students enjoyed looking at the fairy tale displays.

Students in Years F-2 had a Life Education incursion; the program involved a fun interactive learning experience that aimed to empower children to make safer and healthier choices.

Students in Years F-3 participated in the gymnastics program. Students participated in activities to build on their skills and confidence on various apparatuses.

We had our annual Eid festival and concert. Students enjoyed these wonderful events. Thank you to all parents for their ongoing support and all teachers for making this day a success.

In Term 4 we will be following a No Hat, No Play policy. Students are required to wear their summer uniform and school hats.

Looking forward to Term 4. Hope you all have a safe and wonderful term break.

Kind regards,
Ms Halide Atasay
